A group of seven students from the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Jagiellonian University met with the HYADES Science Team to learn about the project’s research problems and explore the possibilities of participating in the space mission. The students are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Astronomy or Physics. During the meeting at the JU observatory, Michal Drahus outlined the main objectives of the project. Piotr Guzik and Tomasz Kawalec presented the available research topics in astronomy and physics, which could constitute the students’ own research project as part of their master theses. Mikołaj Sabat presented opportunities for involvement in public outreach activities.
After the main part of the meeting, everyone enjoyed dinner at a restaurant by the Kryspinów Lagoon.
