I am an Assistant Professor at the Astronomical Observatory, Faculty of Physics, Astronomy, and Applied Computer Science at Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
My research focuses on the study of minor bodies in the Solar System, using both spectroscopic and photometric techniques. Earlier work concentrated on the physical and chemical characterization of the first interstellar interlopers — 1I/‘Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov. Currently, I am involved in the HYADES mission, with a particular focus on simulating Lyman-alpha emitting environments.
Outside of my academic work, I am passionate about stargazing, entomology, and exploring the applications of machine learning in fields beyond astrophysics.
