I am a research assistant and PhD candidate in astronomy at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science).

I graduated from the Jagiellonian University in 2023, where as a student I was involved in the study of two minor bodies from interstellar space: 1I/ʻOumuamua and 2I/Borisov. I investigated gaseous emission as a source of non-gravitational acceleration of ʻOumuamua, based on Lyman-alpha observations from SOHO/SWAN.

In the HYADES team, I coordinate interdisciplinary work between astronomy and physics (engineering) and contribute to the development of the scientific payload.

My main research interests are comets and what they can tell us about the formation of the Solar System. Specifically, I aim to explore whether comets contributed water to Earth’s oceans and their possible link to the origins of life. I am driven by what I consider the most important question facing humanity: does life exist elsewhere in the Universe?

In addition, I am an aspiring geologist, with a special interest in geochemistry and the earliest eons of Earth’s history. My broader interests encompass astronautics, asteroid mining, cars, and nature, especially plant life.

I am an active science communicator and stargazer. I have been a member of the Polish Society of Amateur Astronomers for nearly half of my life.
